Supporting One of Steamboat’s Greatest Treasures
There are some places that become woven into the fabric of a community. The Yampa River Botanic Park is one of those places.
For our family, it’s more than a beautiful garden. It’s where our children wander the paths in wonder, stop to admire the flowers, listen to music drifting through the air on summer evenings, and learn that some of life’s greatest joys are found outdoors and shared with others. It has become one of their favorite places in Steamboat—and one of ours.
That’s why Emma Rose Hardwoods is honored to donate a custom live edge walnut mirror for this year’s Passport Through the Park annual fundraiser. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support a place that gives so much back to our community.
The Yampa River Botanic Park offers so much more than breathtaking gardens. Throughout the season, it hosts free and low-cost community programs including Music on the Green concerts, Yoga on the Green, guided tours, bird walks, sound meditation, social gardening, children’s programming, and special events that welcome residents and visitors alike. The Park also provides beautiful spaces for weddings, celebrations, and community gatherings.
Perhaps what we love most is that the Park is for everyone. It’s a place where children can explore, grandparents can stroll, friends can gather, and visitors can experience a little bit of what makes Steamboat Springs so special. It reminds us that beauty has the power to bring people together.
